🌿 1. Adaptation (अनुकूलन)

English: A change in the body or behaviour of an organism that helps it to survive in its surroundings.
Hindi: किसी जीव के शरीर या व्यवहार में होने वाला परिवर्तन जो उसे अपने वातावरण में जीवित रहने में मदद करता है।

👉 Example:
Cactus stores water in its stem to survive in desert.
कैक्टस अपने तने में पानी जमा करके रेगिस्तान में जीवित रहता है।

🏡 2. Habitat (आवास)

English: The natural home or environment of a plant or animal.
Hindi: किसी जीव या पौधे का प्राकृतिक रहने का स्थान।

👉 Example:
Pond is the habitat of lotus.
तालाब कमल का आवास है।

🌱 3. Terrestrial Plants (स्थलीय पौधे)

English: Plants that grow on land.
Hindi: जो पौधे जमीन पर उगते हैं।

👉 Example:
Mango, Neem, Rose
आम, नीम, गुलाब

🌊 4. Aquatic Plants (जलीय पौधे)

English: Plants that grow in water are called aquatic plants.
Hindi: जो पौधे पानी में उगते हैं उन्हें जलीय पौधे कहते हैं।

👉 Example:
Lotus, Water lily
कमल, कुमुदिनी

English: Plants that grow in deserts and need very little water.
Hindi: जो पौधे रेगिस्तान में उगते हैं और कम पानी में जीवित रहते हैं।

🌳 6. Evergreen Trees (सदाबहार वृक्ष)

English: Trees that do not shed their leaves throughout the year.
Hindi: ऐसे पेड़ जो पूरे साल हरे रहते हैं और पत्ते नहीं गिराते।

Pine, Coconut

🍂 7. Deciduous Trees (पर्णपाती वृक्ष)

English: Trees that shed their leaves in a particular season.
Hindi: ऐसे पेड़ जो एक मौसम में अपने पत्ते गिरा देते हैं।

Mango, Gulmohar
आम, गुलमोहर

💧 8. Transpiration (वाष्पोत्सर्जन)

English: The process by which plants lose water through the stomata of their leaves.
Hindi: वह प्रक्रिया जिसमें पौधे अपनी पत्तियों के छिद्रों से पानी खोते हैं।
