1. Plant — पौधा

Definition (English): A plant is a living thing that grows in soil and needs air, water and sunlight to live.

Example (English): Rose plant, Mango plant.

परिभाषा (Hindi): पौधा एक जीवित वस्तु है जो मिट्टी में उगता है और जीवित रहने के लिए हवा, पानी और सूर्य के प्रकाश की आवश्यकता होती है।

उदाहरण (Hindi): गुलाब का पौधा, आम का पौधा।


2. Tree — पेड़

Definition (English): Big and tall plants with strong woody stems are called trees.

Example (English): Mango, Neem, Banyan.

परिभाषा (Hindi): बड़े और लंबे पौधे जिनका तना मजबूत और लकड़ी जैसा होता है, उन्हें पेड़ कहते हैं।

उदाहरण (Hindi): आम, नीम, बरगद।


3. Shrub — झाड़ी

Definition (English): Small bushy plants with hard stems are called shrubs.

Example (English): Rose, Hibiscus.

परिभाषा (Hindi): छोटे झाड़ीदार पौधे जिनका तना कठोर होता है, उन्हें झाड़ी कहते हैं।

उदाहरण (Hindi): गुलाब, गुड़हल।


4. Herb — छोटे मुलायम पौधे

Definition (English): Small plants with soft green stems are called herbs.

Example (English): Mint, Coriander.

परिभाषा (Hindi): छोटे पौधे जिनका तना मुलायम और हरा होता है, उन्हें herb कहते हैं।

5. Climber — सहारा लेकर चढ़ने वाले पौधे

Definition (English): Plants that need support to climb are called climbers.

Example (English): Money plant, Grapevine.

परिभाषा (Hindi): जो पौधे सहारे से ऊपर चढ़ते हैं उन्हें climbers कहते हैं।

6. Creeper — जमीन पर फैलने वाले पौधे

Definition (English): Plants that grow along the ground are called creepers.

Example (English): Pumpkin, Watermelon.

परिभाषा (Hindi): जो पौधे जमीन पर फैलकर बढ़ते हैं उन्हें creepers कहते हैं।

उदाहरण (Hindi): कद्दू, तरबूज।

7. Root — जड़

Definition (English): Root fixes the plant in the soil and absorbs water and minerals.

Example (English): Carrot, Radish.

परिभाषा (Hindi): जड़ पौधे को मिट्टी में मजबूती से पकड़ती है और पानी व खनिज पदार्थ लेती है।

उदाहरण (Hindi): गाजर, मूली।


8. Stem — तना

Definition (English): Stem supports the plant and carries water to all parts.

Example (English): Sugarcane, Bamboo.

परिभाषा (Hindi): तना पौधे को सहारा देता है और पानी सभी भागों तक पहुँचाता है।

उदाहरण (Hindi): गन्ना, बांस।


9. Leaf — पत्ती

Definition (English): Leaf prepares food for the plant.

Example (English): Mango leaf, Neem leaf.

10. Flower — फूल
