1. Grammar (व्याकरण)
English Definition:
Grammar is the set of rules that helps us read, write, and speak English correctly.
Hindi Definition (हिंदी):
भाषा को शुद्ध और सही ढंग से बोलने, पढ़ने और लिखने के नियमों को Grammar (व्याकरण) कहते हैं।
Importance (महत्त्व):
Helps us speak correctly.
Helps us write correct sentences.
Improves communication skills.
Makes English easy to understand.
Example:

2. Alphabet (वर्णमाला)
Definition
English:
The English Alphabet consists of 26 letters.
Hindi:
अंग्रेज़ी वर्णमाला में 26 अक्षर होते हैं।

3. Vowels (स्वर)
Definition
The letters A, E, I, O, U are called vowels.
A, E, I, O और U को स्वर (Vowels) कहते हैं।

4. Consonants (व्यंजन)
Definition
All letters except A, E, I, O, U are called consonants.

5. Letter (अक्षर)
Definition
A single alphabet is called a letter.
एक अकेला अक्षर Letter कहलाता है।

6. Word (शब्द)
Definition
A meaningful group of letters is called a word.
अर्थपूर्ण अक्षरों के समूह को Word कहते हैं।

7. Phrase (वाक्यांश)
Definition
A group of words without a complete meaning is called a phrase.
शब्दों का ऐसा समूह जिसका पूरा अर्थ न निकले, Phrase कहलाता है।

8. Sentence (वाक्य)
Definition
A sentence is a group of words that gives complete meaning.
शब्दों का ऐसा समूह जो पूरा अर्थ दे, Sentence कहलाता है।
Rules of Sentence
✔ Sentence always starts with a capital letter.
✔ It ends with a full stop (.), question mark (?) or exclamation mark (!).
✔ It should have a subject and a verb.
Examples
I play cricket.
She is my sister.
Ram reads a book.
9. Subject (कर्ता)
Definition
The person or thing about whom something is said is called the Subject.
जिसके बारे में कुछ कहा जाए, उसे Subject कहते हैं।
Examples
Ram plays football.
Subject = Ram
The sun rises.
Subject = The sun
10. Predicate (विधेय)
Definition
The part of the sentence that tells something about the subject is called Predicate.
जो Subject के बारे में बताता है, उसे Predicate कहते हैं।
Examples
Ram plays football.
Predicate = plays football.
11. Object (कर्म)
Definition
The person or thing that receives the action of the verb is called the Object.
जिस पर क्रिया का प्रभाव पड़ता है, उसे Object कहते हैं।
Example
Ram eats an apple.
Object = an apple

Subject + Verb + Object
Examples
Ram writes a letter.
She drinks milk.
They play football.
